Karen’s 26 year work history includes working in the following fields: tourism and hotel industry, financial management, banking, materials management, distribution and most recently Healthcare Environmental Services.  She has managed large groups of front line staff throughout her career here in North America and internationally as well.  Karen has recently completed her degree in Healthcare Administration. Karen’s attention to detail and ability to focus on the client’s needs has resulted in many positive outcomes for all those she provides consulting services to.  Karen has years of experience in facilitating and adult education.  She is an effective communicator from the board room to the front line staff.  She has won several awards for her efforts relating to:  environmental greening, operations excellence and customer service.   Her keen understanding of today’s challenges that organizations face day to day allows her to consult with her clients in a meaningful manner while inspiring solutions together . Karen is an International Sanitation and Supply Association Certified Expert in the new ISSA Management Standard and can provide the support and guidance required to help your organization achieve full accreditation. Rick McFadden comes to Breeze Facilities Solutions with a very unique consulting background.  He seeks results for your organization in Leadership Development, Labour Relations, Human Resources and Health and Safety.  Rick McFadden is an experienced Human Resources, Executive Coaching and Safety Professional with over 19 years consulting experience in the public and private sectors.

His work experience includes; manufacturing, health care, education, municipalities, and the retail service industry.  His work experience has taken him across Canada and overseas.  A partial client list: Ford Motor Company, Quebecor Printing, McDonald’s Restaurants of BC,  BC Cancer Agency, Royal Victoria Hospital, Humber River Regional Hospital,Enspiro - Swedish Institute of Management, The Municipal Government of the Town of Parry Sound, Bell Canada (Delta Centre), The Municipality of Durham, Springwater,  London, and Stratford,  The Lead Program Georgian College, Georgian Pontiac, Headwaters Healthcare Centre, Georgian College Management Institute.

Rick has worked with many unions across Canada including CUPE, CAW, ONA, OPSEU, HEU, BCNU, SEIU and is a skilled negotiator, able to address your labour relations needs.  He is also an instructor in the Business Facility at Georgian College and the Lead Facilitator for the Georgian College Management Institute.  His keynote presentations are known to be refreshing, motivational and informative.

In addition to his work experience he holds undergraduate degrees in Labour Relations and Organizational Sociology from McMaster University and an International MBA from the University of New Zealand, Graduate School of Management.  He is one of a few individuals that have professional designations in Human Resources and Safety.

Over the past several years Rick McFadden has embarked on a new journey and he has increased his focus on professional business coaching.  This shift of perspective has allowed him to assist organizations and individuals to reach their performance expectations.  As an executive coach he inspires motivates and most of all helps individuals deliver results.
